What is a Nixa Chamber Ambassador?
The ambassador program meets an integral need in the Nixa Chamber of Commerce. One of the most important functions of the Chamber is to support local businesses and their representatives. We do this through various activities and events. It is with the help of ambassadors that we are able to have successful ribbon cuttings, luncheons, and larger events such as NIXPO or Suckerdays.
Being an ambassador means that you have put in the volunteer hours during the planning and execution of Chamber events. It means that you have actively supported our new members in attending their ribbon cutting ceremonies. It means that people have started seeing you as a representative of the Chamber in the community.
The Chamber shows our appreciation of these individuals by showcasing them throughout the year, on our website, in newsletters, in events, etc.
Interested in becoming a Chamber Ambassador?
First step in becoming an Ambassador is by joining the Baby Ambassador program! Our Baby Ambassadors are those individuals who are working towards earning their Chamber Ambassador status. By becoming a Baby Ambassador you will start receiving the invites to the Ribbon Cuttings and other volunteer opportunities available in the Chamber.
Every Quarter our Ambassador team will look at the Baby Ambassadors and see who has qualified to be invited to be a Chamber Ambassador. They will then be invited to be part of the Ambassador team.
