Message from Chamber Board of Directors
Dear Nixa Area Chamber of Commerce Members and Friends,
I hope and pray that this letter finds you well and successful in your endeavors. Please let us know if the Nixa Chamber can help you grow, connect, or engage in our community and/or attract new business.
As you may already know, the Board of Directors agreed to purchase a stand-alone building in Nixa that will be the new home of the Nixa Area Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center. This building was first constructed in 1990 and has been the home of various businesses, the last being an insurance agency. The Board saw this as an opportunity to further grow our visibility in the Nixa area and to stabilize our costs for the next 30 years. I am excited for the future of our city and businesses!
Many of you also realize that the costs of building materials and construction have gone up tremendously in the last 6 months. Inflation is putting a squeeze on our budget for the renovation project for the new building.
I would like to engage each of you in a capital campaign, of sorts, to help get this project completed within our budgeted amount. The Board and Staff want to complete every project slated for the renovation and to not leave any project on the table for the future. When we unveil the new Chamber building to you and to the public, we want to be very proud of our accomplishments, the look, and the welcoming atmosphere both inside and outside.
What I am asking for is for each member and friend to Nixa Area Businesses to give what they can--$100, $250, $1000, or more—earmarked for the renovation of the new building. By doing so, your name will be immortalized inside of the building on our Legacy Wall. The higher the gift amount, the larger your name will be on the wall. You will be advertising to future guests of the building forever! Please consider a gift to help us bring a fantastic new Chamber and Visitor Center to Nixa.
Thank you for your consideration and generosity!
