Nixa New Construction Driving Force of Growth

Nixa, your new HOMETOWN!

In 2019, Nixa saw another record-breaking year for new home construction. The Ozarks Transportation Organization publishes an annual Growth Trends Report, and Nixa consistently outpaces all other communities for new home construction.

Our growth is due to three critical economic factors. The first factor is the city of Nixa itself. We have a wide variety of amenities that continue to grow and improve to meet the needs of our residents, providing a very high quality of life. Parks and Recreation, outstanding fire and law enforcement departments, robust city services, and many unique dining and shopping experiences make Nixa the perfect community for people to enjoy and families to grow.

The second key factor is Nixa's public schools. Our school system is consistently top-rated in the region and also one of the top districts in the state—winning several Blue Ribbon awards over the years. Our high-performing schools also keep our housing market healthy, so when it's time to up or downsize, Nixa is also where people choose to stay.

The third significant factor is our proximity to Springfield, Branson, and Table Rock Lake. Our residents find it easy to navigate to and from work in Springfield and then come home to Nixa. When it’s time for recreation, Nixa is only 35-40 minutes away from Branson’s shopping and entertainment districts or to launch a boat on Table Rock Lake.
