You will find below the details of services for Betty Ann Rogers. Betty Ann was an individual member of the Nixa Chamber, served as the Vice President of the Nixa Community Foundation, Past President of the Nixa Women's Club and involved in many other areas in the Nixa community. Betty Ann had her finger on the pulse of Nixa and as her obituary states, "While others got wet, Betty Ann danced in the rain".

Obituary
Betty Ann Rogers, 64, of Nixa, Missouri passed away peacefully on October 29, 2010.
Betty Ann was preceded in death by her mother, Chloe Blackwell and her father, Roy Blackwell.
She is survived by her best friend and love, Mitch Callicott. Her stepchildren, Shelby Elizabeth Rogers, Thomas William Rogers III, Rebecca Rogers Helble, several cousins, and a world full of friends who will dearly miss her. While some people just got wet, Betty Ann danced in the rain.
Betty Ann was raised in Waldo, Arkansas, lived in Harrison, Arkansas and most recently Nixa, Missouri. Betty Ann was active in the community, volunteering her time and heart to those in need. Her friendship was treasured by all who knew her, and her passing leaves a hole in all our hearts. Those who knew Betty Ann only wish that they could live as well and fully as she did.

Tentative - Funeral services for Betty Ann Rogers: Visitation will be Tuesday, November 2, 6-9pm at Adams Funeral Home in Nixa. Memorial Service will be Wednesday, November 3, 10am at Cassidy United Methodist Church located south of CC Hwy on Fremont Rd, 5151 Fremont Rd. Graveside service will be Wednesday, November 3, 3pm in Harrison Arkansas. Donations in lieu of flowers TBA. |

Chamber members,
Some of you may or may not have known Betty Ann Rogers, an individual chamber member.
It is with a heavy heart that I inform you that Betty Ann passed away unexpectedly early this morning. Services will be in Harrison, Arkansas where she was from. I will pass on the details of services when they become available via the chamber website.
Betty Ann became deeply involved in the Nixa community as soon as she and Mitch arrived several years ago. She had a passion for community Service and involvement here in Nixa and in Harrison when she lived there. She was a respected community leader that will be greatly missed.
