Benefits
The benefits of becoming a member of the Nixa Area Chamber of Commerce are both direct and significant. There are a variety of opportunities for advertising, networking, referrals, and personal and business participation. Becoming a member strengthens your position in the Nixa business community and enhances the visibility of your business. Some of the opportunities include:
Ambassadors
Ambassadors act as the official greeters for the chamber at Ribbon Cuttings, Ground Breakings and General Membership meetings
Business Referrals
Each day our Chamber office receives requests for goods and services provided in the Nixa area. These referrals are given for member businesses first.
Chamber Xchange:
Members have the opportunity to offer promotions and discounts to fellow chamber members.
Community Card Deals
Members have the opportunity to offer promotions and discounts in conjunction with the Community Card Deals.
Team (Committee) Involvement
We have several very active teams. Team involvement is a great way to network and promote your business. Download Brochure
Economic Development Council (Task Force is re-evaluating the mission and make up of this council)
Council members have a chance to help work with the city and county on local economic development projects and issues. Objectives include retaining and enhancing those businesses already in existence and attracting new businesses
Information Center
Nixa Chamber members have the opportunity to display business cards at the Chamber office. The Chamber office has information available to members and visitors concerning tourism, clubs and organizations, business and industry, relocation, and general Nixa information.
Legislation
Your Chamber monitors local and state government affairs to advise our members on changes that affect their businesses.
Mailing List
Member pricing for mailing labels or excel file of Chamber members.
Membership Directory: Internet Listing
All members are listed on the Nixa Chamber website. A direct link can be included to your website. Website listings and enhancements are available only to chamber members.
Networking Events
Members and their guests will have an opportunity to participate in many networking events. Every chamber meeting and event is geared toward networking, whether it is a team meeting or large event.
NIXPO
Nixa’s Business eXpo gives members the opportunity to show the community what products and services they provide. Many local and civic organizations also participate. This one day community event attracts people from around the area and is fast becoming the most successful eXpo in SW Missouri.
WWIN (Working Women in Nixa)
Monthly meeting held the 3rd Tuesday at 11:30am. Open to chamber members and their employees. Personal & professional networking geared to women.
X-MIN (eXceptional businessMen In Nixa)
Monthly meeting held the 4th Tuesday at 7:00am. Open to chamber members and their employees. Personal & professional networking geared to men.
